I've just been drumming. It's kind of like meditating. It clears away the fog - gets a good connection.
Ah - there you are. I'm suddenly aware of the gnomiki.
Actually they've been there all along, but the fog has to clear before I'm able to see them clearly.
Hi there - they don't exactly say it, but that's what they're saying.
- Er, I've been meaning to ask you...
Fire ahead.
- What's causing all the problems in life.
?! Whose problems? Whose life?
- You know - everyone seems to have problems.
Precisely. Seems to have - your very words.
- Ok. Everyone has problems - things that need dealing with: health, financial, general direction...
General housekeeping.
- Excuse me?
General housekeeping. You have to keep your house in order - and some of you don't seem to enjoy doing so.
- Well who on Earth enjoys cleaning and dusting.
Who indeed.
- But I'd hardly call health problems general housekeeping.
No - they can be severe, can they not?
- You're telling me. So what's your solution, or what's their reason?
Good question.
The gnomiki take me in a kind of spaceship. We shift dimensions so I'm able to view things from a completely different perspective.
- I see what you mean.
In this perspective I see myself as a house - albeit a living breathing house. There's clutter lying around, and chairs and dust and dirt and it isn't exactly orderly.
- But I don't want to spend my life tidying up - I opine.
No, that would be most dull. Actually there are plenty of helpers who love cleaning and tidying, if you're willing to do something for them in return.
- Like what?
Like sing to them, dance for them, write them a story, a poem, paint them a picture.
- And they'll help tidy my house?
Sure. They'll help you get your life in order.
- So what's causing all this mess?
Don't you see?
I look more carefully. In this dimension - if you look at something carefully it takes you back to the root cause so it becomes clear how all the mess in my house is caused by things that I'm trying to avoid in my life - and I don't mean cleaning per se.
Give them an example.
Ok - like the time I didn't want to go and see what was going on down the street because I was too busy. Last week. There was some commotion. I was up to my eyeballs in work. The last thing I wanted was to tear myself away - but my inner-spirit was urging me to do so - like there was something I needed to see there - someone I needed to meet. Now, with this interactive programme I can see that had I gone I would have meet Mildred. She's a bit weird but full of interesting ideas. On this occasion I didn't turn up, she tells me all about some plants she's been growing and inspires me to do some planting of my own - only this doesn't happen in my reality because I suppressed my urge to go there - so all the good that was meant to come from that meeting happens in a parallel dimension and causes a distortion in my field - and that messes things up in the house - just a bit. If I rewind and allow the meeting to take place - and I can do that now with the help of gnomiki - such is the power of their technology - a load of debris vanishes from the house, and some ill health is avoided.
It's weird the way everything is interconnected. It's not that Mildred tells me anything far reaching - just that going to her on that occasion is in harmony and balance with many aspects of who and what I am, with my needs and learning path - so scores highly - no matter how insignificant the knowledge itself is that she shares with me.
Oh - and I see she's short of a bob or two and "lend" her some money. Actually I give it to her - she and I both know that - and it's not like I'm being kind or anything - it just so happens that I have the money and she needs it - and I'm none the worse off for giving it to her - knowing that I'll get whatever I need whenever I need it.
But are you sure you won't be in need?
- Er, of course. It's an energy flow. The more stuff circulates, the better the wheels turn.
So the small things matter?
- Everything matters - big and small, but what we think is big might in fact be insignificant. We tend to make a big fuss about money, particularly if we're giving or receiving it just like that - because we're guided to do so at a soul level by spirit - as this seems to endanger the value system in our matter-based reality.
Well, you don't want to encourage people to be dependent on you - and lending money can ruin a friendship.
- True, but seeing it the way gnomiki are showing it to me - by not giving that money I have a zone of stagnation which causes all kinds of health problems a little further downstream - which incidentally require expensive treatments. Helping Madge avoids all that.
I thought you said she was Mildred?
- Mildred, Madge... what difference does it make.
So you're helping her to avoid getting sick?
- That wouldn't work. As soon as that's my motivation this programme shows the health benefit is almost entirely eliminated.
So you help her just because...
- Precisely - for no rhyme or reason - just because, and neither she nor I makes a big deal of it - because "tis no matter" as we say. She doesn't charge me for her advice.
Well no, but there's a difference between giving gardening advice and lending someone fifty quid.
- There's a difference been rain and sun, or anything else for that matter, but how does differentiating benefit me if I choose to be happy?
Sorry, I didn't get that?
- Being happy means I just go with whatever feels right at the moment - so I don't bother thinking about whether I should or shouldn't, or why it may or may not be a good idea. I've seen how my happiness and the state of my house is best served by trusting my intuition - and freely giving and receiving's an integral part of that.
But you might end up giving away everything.
- Yes.
And then you'll be in need.
- If I somehow manage to separate myself from the body.
Which body?
- The body of which I'm a part - the universe.
What do you mean the body. It's just a thing.
- Is it?
Yes, isn't it?
- Not when you allow gnomiki to show how everything's interconnected. Then you see how your happiness and that of Madge, of Percy, Fred and everyone else you know are inter-connected.
But I don't want to be dependent on other people.
- Nope. Who ever said anything about dependency. We're talking about happiness.
But if I'm short of money how am I going to pay my bills?
- How are you going to be short if you're tuning into the abundance and flow of life itself.
Theory, stuff and nonsense.
- Yes, unless you see it for yourself. Don't take my word for it. Ask the gnomiki to show their programme. Instead of running your house in isolation - see how it's in fact connected to another level, or other levels - shift screens and see how the house is in fact a garden, then shift again and see how it's a body and you're an organ within that body, then shift levels again and you're a cell, and keep on shifting levels - until you see yourself and your existence from a hundred different perspectives - and in all of these there's a high degree of co or inter-dependency that doesn't have to be restrictive or oppressive because it's entirely natural and no big deal. It only seems like a big deal if you're operating from the mercantilist perspective.
And what exactly is that?
- Oh - where money is a thing of intrinsic value that you need to hold onto and accumulate for security...
Whereas?
- Whereas it's like sunlight or oxygen - freely given and best shared or enjoyed either for my benefit or for someone else's - but without this sense of fear.
But, but...
- Yes, don't take my word for it. Ask the gnomiki to show you their model - it's gotta be seen, otherwise you're just not going to trust it really works, you've been so heavily indoctrinated to think along mercantilist lines.
To be cautious you mean!
- Caution my arse. Unnatural! Preferring to make ourselves sick and unhappy. Accumulating paper rather than really living, really enjoying the magic of being fully here and now in the moment.
Oh...
- So here you are then.
Here you what?
- I'm giving you a free trial run.
But I'm not sure I want it. Not if it's going to force me to throw caution to the winds and risk my well-being.
- Yes, I see your point. Well, anyway, the offer stands. See you.
Where are you going?
- No idea. I'm off with gnomiki - they're leading me a merry dance. Something tells me its gonna be fun.
Ah - there you are. I'm suddenly aware of the gnomiki.
